Desert Winds Adventures Series - 12 Hour ght Adventure Race
Our Day/Night Races are 12 Hour adventure races in and around Lake Mead National
Recreation Area within an hour or so of Las Vegas, Nevada, directions and location.

Our Purpose...
is to provide a creative and challenging race course to novice, intermediate, and
experienced adventure race athletes - with waterproof maps, waterproof course books,
and accurate CP's.

Check-in & TA Set-up Begins: 3:00 PM
RACE START: 5 PM
Summer in July around Lake Mead is HOT. Therefore, our July race is a Day/Night Race.

Trekking, Mtbiking, Paddling
There is no Swimming in the January 12 Hour. There is Swimming in the July 12 Hour.
Team Format
Teams of 3 or 4-Person COED or 3 or 4-person ALL FEMALE teams are the Primary Teams.
Solo, 2-person, and all male teams are welcome.
Except for the finish time, there are no cut-off times or dark zones. There are no mystery events.
There is one transition.
Support
Support is optional. You may bring a support team. You do not need to bring a support team.

This is a BYOB race (bring your own boat). Kayak rentals are available from Desert Adventures.
